In 2017, I transitioned to the UK, starting as a dental nurse, and became a dental hygienist in 2022. Dental Training
My dental training began in 2002 with top grades in all science subjects (Botany, Zoology, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry), earned my BDS and completed vocational training in India.
In 2017, I started my dental career in the UK as a trainee dental nurse, obtaining a diploma in dental nursing and becoming a registered dental nurse with the GDC in 2018.
Working as a dental nurse in a mixed dental practice in the UK, I gained a comprehensive understanding of UK dentistry and its patient-centered care principles. These experiences have greatly influenced my approach as a dedicated dental hygienist.
Skills & Expertise
I specialise in the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease (gum disease) and provide tailored oral hygiene advice. I am passionate about guided biofilm therapy prophylaxis treatment, utilising Airflow technology.
I ensure my patients are relaxed and stress-free, and I support anxious patients by helping them feel at ease throughout the treatment journey, explaining procedures in a way that every patient can understand.
